- Skirt Parties can be hosted anywhere within the United States. Skirt parties are simple to host...All you need is a wide range of friends to invite. If there is 1 host, there needs to be 10 to 12 guest headcount. If there are 2 hosts, 12-20 headcount. Usually it is good to invite as many people as possible because one can count on 1/3 of the invited to actually attend.
- Skirts prices range from $100 to $200, so it is important
that you keep that in mind when putting together your guest list.
- I will forward to you 2 invitations for you to send out to your
friends. One is to send by email, the other you can print out
to mail or hand out.
- Weeknight Evenings from 5:30 to 9pm are popular nights for skirt parties. Day parties are great for friends who have children in school and find it easier to slip away during daytime hours. Often times parties offer daytime and evening hours with a break inbetween.
- Refreshments are up to the host. Wine and appetizers are often served at the evening skirt parties.
- Hosts discounts are based off skirts sold at the party. The hostess discount is 10% of total sales at your party. For example, if 20 skirts are sold, averaging about $2,400 in total sales, then the host will receive $240 toward her purchase.
- I will get there about 20 minutes before the party to set up. All I bring is a rack with tons of samples for people to try on and fabric books for people to choose the fabrics from.
